Problem: Our life partner relationships determine the quality of our lives, but we are all super busy with other duties and overloaded schedules, which makes it hard to stay connected in the long term. Statistics show that at least 50% of marriages end up in a divorce, people are more lonely than they have ever been and even those who are in a relationship, often report not being happy with it. We know that time is the most scarce asset for active couples, especially those with small children.
Another statistic is that couples get into relationship trouble right after the birth of their second child, as the life changes significantly and it is very hard to maintain positivity in the relationships.
Another target audience is startup founders and first employees. The statistics of startup founder divorce rates are devastating and not only that, mental health and life satisfaction are also an issue that have become a red flag for the whole startup community. One of the reasons is the loss of connection in their relationships.
Regular visits to psychologists are becoming more mainstream, however, there is a huge market that is not being served, due to this service being quite expensive and limited, the best psychologists are fully booked and rarely take on new patients. But not all couples need therapy, if they start early with preventive techniques, this can be avoided.
Solution:
It's an app for couples who want to maintain warm and healthy relationships in the long term. We will provide short guided exercises and tips, expert content, insights and motivation through tracking and gamification + integration with other apps like Flow and calendar planning, to ensure personalised approach and guidance.
Our app will offer short and regular exercises, expert advice, personal development techniques and planning tips that will take very little time off the daily busy routines of couples. Most of the solutions that currently exist for couples take time - blog posts need reading, emotional intelligence development takes effort and time, couples therapy is both expensive and time consuming. We want to be that 5-10 minutes a day app that will improve the bond between couples in a seamless way. A couple of years ago we saw a rise in mindfulness apps - relationship health is the next big thing and we are providing it. 5-10 minutes a day for satisfied relationships.
The app will provide practical tips that take no longer than a couple of minutes a day to connect, improve intimacy and feel loved.
